Brief Answer:
The MRI scan is negative for a brain stroke

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. A hemangioma is a benign tumor which is seen in the bone on your forehead region to the right of midline. This is not a serious concern and I have seen many of my patients having one. It grows slowly and usually does not cause any symptoms. This is the reason the doctors have mentioned "NEGATIVE FOR ACUTE INTRACRANIAL ABNORMALITY".

2. Since you are feeling weak on your left side and leg restlessness, it was a possibility that you might have had a stroke like episode. The above MRI scan findings rule out a stroke as a probable cause for your weakness.

3. It is possible that your symptoms might be due to a metabolic imbalance or anxiety. A complete neurological examination will help and few laboratory blood tests might be required after assessing your condition.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek

I HAVE A VERY HARD TIME WALKING AND AT TIMES ALMOST FALLING. I HAVE SEVERE HEADACHES AND A LOT OF DIFFERENT ONES WHICH BECAUSE OF A DOCTOR SAYING MIGRAINES THAT'S NOW WHAT THEY ALL ARE. I'M RETAINING 8 LBS OF WATER IN FOUR DAYS AND I FORGET THINGS OR SAY THINGS THAT ARE STUPID AND TOTALLY OUT OF CHARACTER FOR ME. EXAMPLE THIS MORNING I TOLD MY HUSBAND I FORGOT TO THROW THE DRY CLEANING INTO THE DRYER.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

1. There was a need to do the MRI scan brain to know if any significant acute brain condition is causing your symptoms. There is no acute stroke like event which might be causing your problems.

2. It is important to know whether you are experiencing stress related anxiety. should you have anxiety then please involve yourself in mind relaxation techniques to relax your mind.

3. Retaining 8 lbs of water in 4 days also requires attention. Probably your thyroid concern needs to be evaluated in detail, especially if you are having a low thyroid state. Fluid and electrolyte balance also might require evaluation.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.
