It says that I have Alignment with broad-based scoliosis versus positioning. Alignment otherwise within normal limits. Multilevel degenerative change with moderate disc space narrowing nainly $4 -5 and L5 - S1. Bilateral moderate facet arthropathy present lower lumber spine.

Brief Answer:
Good combination of diet and exercises / physiotherapy can help you

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Read the Medical History, full of childhood fun and mistakes and problems as you noted; Current medication and tried, present reports of X-rays.

Read your Question carefully and doing copy-paste here as it is, so that I do not miss a point: ((MY QUESTION is will wearning some form of support around my middle, (as my stomach is large and I have an apron from C.section years ago) because my stomack pulls dramatically on my back so my muscles are pretty much constantly spasming. Why can women have breast reductions because they cause back pain and it is covered by healthcare, But in this instance my stomach does the same thing that oversized breasts do, but no one will look at that for funding. I just need to know if there is something that I can do that will help me walk and still be active))

You are absolutely right in thinking that the muscles of the back are constantly in spasm due to the stomach pulling on back. If such a brace is available in your local market, this surely will support your back at least partially. If you try and get the people doing Orthopedic Appliances, they surely can tailor-made a brace as per requirement. You can get these people through the Physiotherapist or Orthopedic centers nearby. (although this breed of great people is getting reduced due to ready-made availability of such braces which really do no fit well for everyone).
Please try and let us hope you get one.

Your another point is also very valid.
Insurance companies should pay for the surgery you are asking about. You may also inquire about this at your local facilities if abdominoplaty and such procedures are allowed and covered or not; your treating Doctor or the Administration at the hospital can guide you well.
We are benefited in this regard if the patient has associated abdominal wall hernia.

Read the reports you have provided and most of the changes go with the age of 64 in a female patient as the changes are common with. The problem looks to be accentuated by the associated factors of the past and the present problems.

It is good to know that there are certain things you are ready to do or doing it
( I can exercise but don't over do it. That is about it.)
This certainly opens one aspect of treatment- a self one. Many of your problems can be reduced by a good combination of diet charts provided by the Dietitian and exercises scheduled under the guidance of a trainer / Physiotherapist. They really help in getting rod of the smaller problems by appropriate balancing of the muscles and you will see the best results.

I hope this answer helps you to start with towards the goal of comfortable life.

Please feel free to ask relevant queries, ask for anything I might have missed and you want to know, or if you feel that there is a gap-of-communication.
