What Does The Following Lipid Profile Test Result Indicate?
Not to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to HCM. I understand your conern. Thank you for your question.
This is a pure panic attack due to your generalized anxiety disorder, as I can tell by the medical therapy you are on. My approach to reassuring you that there is nothing to be worried about, is that blood pressure is one of the most variable components of the human organism. It may be a subject of various physiological phenomena that happen during a day - physical activity, natural hormonal level changes etc. One of the important components that may "spike" the blood pressure and/or raise the heart rate is the psychological component. Fear coming from thoughts "oh my, there must be something wrong going on with me", produces significant amounts of stress which, in turn, is accompanied with raise in adrenalin levels in one's blood circulation, hence the increased blood pressure, which is one of a lot of adrenalin effects in the human body. You do not have to be worried about this. I am not going to suggest you other medication, as I can see that your current therapy encompasses the treatment of both high blood pressure and the anxiety disorder.
I hope you find my answer helpful. I am happy to help, if you have any follow-up questions.
Best regards,
Dr. Meriton
