Brief Answer:
Need a Ct csan
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your description.
I would advise you to get the following tests done
Tests for hepatitis B and C
A triple phase CT of the abdomen. Along with AFP.
This will help to characterize and find the cause of the liver lesion. We can decide on the further line of management once you get these tests done.
Please write back with the reports to discuss on further line of management.
Hope this helps. Do get back in case of further queries.
Regards
Dr Samir Patil

Dear Dr
As I advised I have under gone the susggested tests. The results are:
1. Alfa feto protein (AFP 2.25 ng/mL Normal range 0-7 ng/mL
2. Serum creatinine - 0.6 Normal range 0.7-1.2 mg/dL
3, BHSAG Non reatice (0.06)
4. Hepatitis C antibodies (HCV) - Non Reactive (0.08)
Triphasial CT Scan
Mild diffuse fatty infiltration of lever
Fairly well difined ~1.5 x 1.6 cm hypodense area in the segment V of livr, adjacent to the gall bladder fossa, without abnormal contract enhancement - findings in keeping with focal fatty sparing
No focal lesions in gthe rest of liver parenchyma
No other significant intraabdonominal or pelic pathology.
Incidental few small bullae in the bilateral lung bases
All other systems are normal
Please adise on focal fatty sparing and follow up
if any further investigation needed on small balles of lung bases consulting chest physician and doing CT of Chest???

Brief Answer:
no further treatment or ivestigations
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You do not need any treatment for focal fatty sparing.it is a harmless condition. It means less fat deposition in that area of the liver.
The bullae seen in the lungs are not a cause for worry. You do not need a CT chest or a chest physician consult.
You do not need further investigations and need not worry about the liver lesion.
Hope this helps
