What Does The Following Renal Ultrasound Report Indicate?

Question: My 7year old underwent a renal ultrasound. They found a 1.5 x 1.4 soft mass at the neck of the bladder that possibly went into the urethra. Also found calcific foci present around the mass. A cystoscope was done, and they found no mass. How could this have happened?

Ultrasound report. Havent received the official cytoscope report. Dr said he found nothing to biopsy

Could be a diverticulum

Thanks for writing back. I have gone through the attached report. It is possible that the mentioned mass is actually a diverticulum which had folded inward thus becoming seemingly invisible to the cystoscopy. A diverticulum is a fold of the mucosal wall. However, a thorough work up is needed to understand what is actually going on.
