Question: pls advice what this sperm analysis report shows. what r the chances of getting pregnant naturally??

Hi, welcome to HealthcareMagic.

I saw the semen report. It suggests that you have asthenoteratospermia. That means count is normal but motility is less. Also the normal forms of sperm are not there. So, chances of pregnancy is there, but risk of miscarriages is very high because it will result in defective embryos.

Also, I think you should get a semen culture and sensitivity test done to rule out any infection. Take some antioxidants and vitamin supplements for 3 months.

Repeat a semen analysis after one month with a gap of 3 to 5 days of abstinence.

If reports are similar, then you have to undergo IVF with ICSI.

Talk to your doctor regarding this.

Morphology doesn't affect outcome of ICSI.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I think in your case IVF will not help. ICSI is the treatment that you have to take. ICSI is different from IVF.

In ICSI, a single sperm is selected by the embryologist and fertilized with egg manually. So, morphology doesn't have any effect if defect is present in tail. Sperm with normal head can be used in ICSI.
