Brief Answer:
Further evaluation needed.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.I have checked the attached report. The report clarifies that the patient had suffered from tuberculosis and a significant destruction has already occurred. The changes are not reversible. It remains to be verified whether treatment for tuberculosis is required. This can be confirmed after clinical evaluation and certain blood and sputum tests. If indicated, treatment with antitubercular agents for 6 months or more would be needed and that should help in getting rid of the tuberculosis altogether. But the damage already done cannot be reversed. Treatment for the same would be supportive.

I would recommend visiting a municipalty health centre (chest clinics or DOTS centres under RNTCP) which would actually provide best treatment for free (government sponsored).

If treated completely, recurrence is unlikely. If incompletely treated, recurrence (or rather continuation) is to be expected.

Regards
