What Does The Following Test Result Indicate?
My Neutrophil Count percentage is high 77.1% What does this mean?
My Monocute Count is Low 2.9% What does this mean
need to interpret this in conjunction with the total counts
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
The values which you have mentioned are not too concerning. But we have to interpret this in light of the total blood counts, hemoglobin, white cells and platelet counts, as well as the normal limits in the concerned lab.
The MPV is only slightly low, but if platelet count is normal, then it is fine. The monocyte percentage is slightly low but if total wbc count is OK then again it is fine. The neutrophil count is bit high. Usually it rises in any inflammation or stress situation.
If you can upload the complete report, then I can guide you better. A list of drugs you are taking, if any, would also help.
Hope this helps.
