What Does The Following Thyroid Profile Result Indicate?

Question: I am a hypothyroid patient and taking 75MCG Thyroxine. I got my Thyroid test done in September and my value of TSH was 3.07 . Now, I got it done again. And here are my results:-
T3- 105
T4- 10.7
TSH- 7.69

What should be done?

Hi XXXX,

Welcome back to HCM. Thanks for posting question

Your current TSH is elevated. Hope you are taking medications properly in morning empty stomach. Once on treatment your TSH should be less than 3 miu/ml. So you have to increase the Thyroxine dose.

If I were your treating physician I would have increased your Thyroxine dose to 100 mcg and followed you up after 2 months with thyroid function tests.

The time gap between thyroxine and food/ tea / coffee should be ideally 1 hour or at least 30 minutes
