Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hi my age is 26 yrs.i have done my thyroid t3, t4 &tsh test the result are - 122 ng/dl,10.10 mg/dl, 5.10 mIU/ml. Commets: suggesting Thyronormalcy. I am having knee pain from past 2 months. So i would like to know about my report and further treatment for my joint pain
As there are changes in the thyroid levels there will be kind of fatigue to set in the muscles. So by having fatigue which is a physiological process, there will be the weakness in the knee muscles leading to knee pain. Doing strengthening exercises to improve the endurance of the muscles of the knee it will be helpful to avoid knee pains. Like doing walking, reverse walking, static Quadriceps and static hamstring should help you avoid knee pains. Use icing as help for reducing the pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
