Should I have stopped taking it for a week and then did the new dose because I started the new dose two days ago and not sleeping , sweating . I'm afraid of thyroid storm I don't have my thyroid I had to take it out and I'm just been taking Synthroid for the past 15 years. Brief Answer:
Don't be scared.I don't think you have risc factors for thyroid storm.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for asking.
I have gone through your query.

Thyroid storm is rare.
It develops in people who have hyperthyroidism but aren’t receiving appropriate treatment.
Not all people with hyperthyroidism will develop thyroid storm.
People with hyperthyroidism may develop thyroid storm in stressful condition like trauma, surgery or severe emotional distress, stroke, diabetic ketoacidosis, congestive heart failure or pulmonary embolism. If you have not any of this condition, you have not reason to be worried about the risc of thyroid storm.

Insomnia and sweating can be symptoms of hyperthyroidism.
At the other side, your actual thyroid function test results show subclinical hyperthyroidism.

Subclinical hyperthyroidism may be caused by excessive TSH suppressive therapy with L-thyroxine (Synthroid) for benign thyroid nodular disease, or hormone over-replacement in patients with hypothyroidism.

You didn't mention your thyroid diagnosis. It is necessary to understand better your situation and your risc for thyroid complications. So,let me know as much details as you can about your thyroid condition and i will be happy to help.
