The scan was done to check for polysistic ovaries. The test was done day 30 to day 1 of my cycle. I had a early cycle that month and after the test my period came the next day.
I read somewhere it is the inschemi phase of the cycle thus it was thinning out
The doctors results states " normal appearing myometium and endometrium the latter measuring 4.4mm. Im just stressed about it but everywhwre i read it states it was the last day of my cycle thus it was thinning out

Brief Answer:
EXPLAINED
Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
A day before your periods, the thickness should be more.
Ischemic phase of the cycle is when the blood supply to the endometrium is cut off, the endometrium begins to fragment, and it sheds after a few hours.
So yes, it is tricky, because it could be that too.
In any case, the endometrium is not a pointer for polycystic ovaries.
To check for polycystic ovaries, the scan should be done on day 2 of your cycle.
To check if the endometrium is growing properly, the scan should be done a week before your cycle is due.
Take care.
