Brief Answer:
Ultrasound is normal.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query as well as the attached report. The ultrasound seems to be fine. In such a case, the location of the pain is very important and a clinical examination is required. It would really help if you could:
* Try to describe the exact disposition and the nature of the pain.
* Associated symptoms if any.
* Triggers and relieving factors.
* How long it has been occurring.
* It would help if you could attach the doctor's notes.

I would await your response. Based on that I would provide my inputs.

Regards

dear doctor,
she has pain in the left side of the abdomen
the pain is very painful and occurs every 2 to 3 months and we give her only painkillers by a local doctor who does not give any prescription
The pain has been there for over 2years now.

Brief Answer:
Proper dietary fiber intake is essential.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking writing back. I have gone through the mentioned details as well as the ultrasound reports. Based on the disposition and the recurrence it seems to me that it could be due to constipation or stool impaction in the large intestines (the descending colon is located to the left of the abdomen). If that is the case, the treatment would be to give her a fiber rich diet. She needs to take plenty of green leafy vegetables along with diet every day. This has to be backed up with one hour of rigorous activity (read: playing) daily. Fiber supplements like isabgol may be given.

I think that should take care of the pain. Taking curd or yogurt should also be beneficial.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
