What Does The Mammography Report Indicate?

Question: I have a query for my wife, Age 46. As a routine check-up, Mammography is done for both breasts. Following is the result of the report:
Both breasts show dense glandular parenchyma. Underlying lesion may be obscured.
No suspicious microcalcification cluster seen.
No skin thickening or nipple retraction seen.
Bilateral axillae show lymph nodes.
IMPRESSIONS: BIRADS grade 0.
ADV. : Clinical and sonomammography (USG breats) correlation to review BIRADS grading.
Please suggest, do I need to go for sonomammography?
Thanks & Regards

Brief Answer:
Yes,your wife need ultrasonography(USG).
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Yes,your wife need ultrasound of breasts.
Since breast tissue is dense,it may obscure underlying lesions. So,she is advised for ultrasound.
Sensitivity increases with combined procedure i.e mammography and ultrasound.
Sonography is also important due to presence of axillary lymph nodes.
Sonography can evaluate if there is any lesions.
