Question: HI,
I am trying for baby for past 3 years. I consulted Gynaecologist and she made me do some tests
Test                                        Result
TSH                                             Normal
Follicle Monitoring                         Normal-I was ovulating on 16-17 days
Pelvic Ultrasound                          Endometrium wall was normal and ovary has no cysts

My husband has hypothyroid and his semen report I am attaching with my mail.
I could not make out what is the issue and how we should proceed with the treatment. We are thinking of visiting some fertility clinic where there are good panel of gynaecologist and XXXXXXX
Could you please suggest me the next step and whether I should the fertility clinic. If so can you please suggest us some good fertility clinic which has experienced doctors and good success rate.

Brief Answer:
Please get some investigations done

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. I have reviewed the reports.
Your reports are normal.
However, your husband's semen analysis report shows increased liquefaction time and semen with decreased motility.Abnormal forms of sperms are also 50%, which is high. This can be a major cause of infertility in your case.
I suggest your husband to get his semen analysis repeated after 3 days of abstinence , and also get a semen culture and sensitivity done to assess any subclinical infection which is affecting the sperm motility and morphology.
You should also get the following investigations done, which are important in evaluating the cause of infertility:
1. Serum FSH
2. Serum Prolactin
3. Serum Progeserone level on day 21 of the cycle
4. Hysterosalpingography (HSG) on the day 5-10 of the menstrual cycle, to assess the tubal patency.
You ca go for further management once the cause for infertility is found out.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.
You can get back to me with the reports of the above tests by asking a direct question to me on health care magic portal.
Wishing you good health.
