What Does The Sonomammogram Scan Report Indicate?

This is regarding a health checkup for my wife. She is 22 years old. She wants a health checkup done which includes tests specifically for women. The basic intention is to check for any tests that would diagnose breast cancer. There is some sort of lump close to her right armpit, hence I am thinking of getting this test done. The below list contains sonomammogram. Is this enough to diagnose breast cancer. I have listed the tests offered by manipal hospital from the following link:

Examination by surgeon required
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
I have read you query and I understand your concerns about screening for breast cancer.
Following is my reply:
1) The above list of tests will identify many commonly occurring problems. Please get it done.
2) Please get sonomammogram done to identify more details about the lump in your wife's breast. This lump needs to be examined by a surgeon if possible to differentiate between cancerous and non cancerous growth.
3) If the sonomammogram shows abnormality or surgeon identifies abnormal tumor, you can go for biopsy of the lump to identify cancer cells in it if they are there.
4) I dont think there is chance of the lump turning out to be cancerous. The above methods will help you to confirm it and put your mind at ease.
5) The above health package is good enough.
I hope I answered you query and addressed your concerns.
Let me know if you wish to ask any further questions. I will be glad to help you.
Regards,
Dr. Soumya
