Question: hi. this is about my wife,29yrs. We are trying for baby..
A doctor adviced her to take thyroid,fsh,lsh test on 2nd day of period.

After seeing the reports I would like to tell you that your wife seems to have a low ovarian reserve.
But your investigations are still incomplete.
In our previous discussion I had advised you tests and diagnostic laparoscopy.
In case you have got that done then please upload the reports.
I also want to suggest you to get prolactin levels and AMH levels tested in case you haven't get them.
Her thyroid hormone levels are in high range so she needs to take tablet thyroxine 25 ug daily empty stomach.

Hi, I have seen HSG Report and would like to explain you about report.
This reports suggests that the uterine cavity is normal so there won't be any problem in implantation of embryo in case pregnancy occurs.
But both sides tubes seem to have adhesions with adjacent structures which are more on left side so much so that uterus is deviated towards left side.
These adhesions can interfere in pick up of ovum from ovary by the fallopian tubes or interfere with the transfer of embryo to the uterine cavity.
And in some cases it at times leafs to implantation of embryo inside the fallopian tube instead of uterine cavity and is a grave surgical emergency.
So in my opinion you need to get laparoscopy from an experienced surgeon who can open the tubes and improves the alignment with ovary.
AMH Test will tell us the ovarian reserve so as to decide the time window we have till when we can try for pregnancy because in case it is very low (as her FSH is high) then we should hurry up in adopting an advanced method of reproduction technology like IVF (Test tube baby).

her last menstrual cycle was 13th august... would it be good to do an amh tomorow?
