What Does The Urine Test Report Indicate?

Thanks,
XXXX
Ketone in urine may occur in acute illness
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Blood report of your kid shows increased total WBC count with raised polymorphs. This indicates any bacterial infection. Positive CRP also is suggestive of acute bacterial infection. Widal test for typhoid and malaria card test is negative and so typhoid and malaria infection has been ruled out.
Urinary report is showing positive ketone bodies. Except this other urinary findings are normal and not suggestive of urinary tract infection.
Ketone bodies in urine may be present in any acute illness, diabetes and some metabolic disorders.
Even fever, prolonged fasting, high protein diet or repeated vomiting may cause increased excretion of ketone in urine.
In your kid's case some bacterial infection(suggested by increased polymorphs and CRP),fever or diet appears to be cause of increased ketones in urine.
I would suggest you to get a blood sugar test done to rule out diabetes.Blood culture may be helpful in identifying the organism if it comes positive.
Consult your physician for further investigation and treatment of infection.
I will be glad to answer if you have any further query.
