Question: Hello, i have a thick white strngy discharge from my vagina. It does not smell, however recently the lumps have become bigger and now i avoid oral sex.
Brief Answer:
candida infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thick discharge suggests candida infection.
Usually it is associated with foul smell but can present even without smell.
Presence of lumps also suggests candida.
Please get a gram stain of the discharge done, this will help in finding out the exact cause.
Treatment can be with antifungal intra vaginal capsules, but first diagnosis is important.
Please get the test done.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.

Hello, it's not thrush as I mentioned it is a long term issue. It is also not an STI
Brief Answer:
vaginal cleansers
Detailed Answer:
Hello
You mentioned of lumps.
You mean lumps of discharge or there are lumps like boils present in your vaginal area?
Another possibility is lucorrhea which is physiological excess discharge.
Vaginal cleansers are available.
I would like to know whether you have used cleansers in past?
Let me know so I can guide you further.
Thank you

Hello,
Stringy tissue like clumps or lumps. At some times during my menstrual cycle they become bigger. Anti fungal tablets do not remove. No lumps on my skin. The lumps can be as big as two cm long and a cm wide. Not really sure what a vaginal cleanser is.
Brief Answer:
Vaginal cleanser will work
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Probably it is lucorrhea.
White discharge without any other symptoms suggests of this.
you can use vaginal cleansers like summer's eve douche or vagisil femanine wash.
This will help in reducing the thickness of discharge.
There doesnt seem to be any infection so no particular therapy is needed.
Hope this works for you.
Let me know if there is any other doubt.
Thank you

Hello,
This hasn't really helped at all. Do you really have no foyer her advise. What about a hormonal link?
Brief Answer:
No hormonal link
Detailed Answer:
Hello
No there is no hormonal link.
White discharge happens in all the women in minimum amount.
It is called as leukorrhea and is a completely physiological condition.
In few it become thick and stringy.
If it was hormonal there would have been other symptoms like menstural irregularity, hyperpigmentation of skin etc.
There is no definite treatment for this.
However vaginal cleansers can loosen the thick vaginal secretion and hence I suggested these.
Let me know if you need further clarification.
Thank you
