What Does This Doppler Report Indicate?

Question: I'm 34 year lady suffering from takayasu arteries from 2006. I had my coronary artery bypass on 2008 . Also replaced aortic valve with carbomedics valve. I was on steroids for long time. Few months before I had stopped my steroids without doctors advice, nowadays I'm having heaviness in my head, blurred vision and fatigue always , feeling loss of balance while walking . I can't able to concentrate Anything . Last week I had a Doppler scan of subclavian and neck arteries . Attaching the report . Please suggest me what to do
Brief Answer:
Takayasu Arteritis
Detailed Answer:
Good evening XXXXXXX
I have gone through your history and the Doppler report. There is a bit of inflammation going on in the carotid vessels which is causing decreased blood flow to your brain and hence the further symptoms.
Firstly, In takayasu you cant off medications cause once you stop the medications they start causing the symptoms again which causes further inflammation.
I would suggest you to visit a rheumatologist and restart on Steroids along with MEthotrexate. Steroids can be tapered over due course but methotrexate will go on.
Hope the information was useful
Do let me know for more queries

Brief Answer:
Management of Takayasu
Detailed Answer:
Good evening
1. You need to check for ESR, CRP to look for the disease activity.
2. I am sorry to tell you this, but we cant prescribe Folitrax dose online as it is a chemotherapeutic drug and the prescription needs to be given in hand. With this site, we can provide you the right guidance but the prescription for a new drug is not permitted. You should increase your wysolone to 1mg/kg body weight and the tapering has to be planned accordingly.
Could you tell me your exact location, so I can guide you to the nearest Rheumatologist. I feel, it s time we act quickly. You wont want to have anything affected in your Central Nervous system.
Do let me know for more queries. Would be happy to help out
