Question: can you please explain these results to me?

EBV,IgG 231 U/mL (<18.0 ) completed High 03/21/2017
EBV, IgM 18.9 U/mL (<36.0 ) completed 03/21/2017

Hello! I have been through your question.

Related the above mentioned results you should know that VCA IgM negative and VCA IgG positive means that you have been infected in the past with Epstein Bar Virus (from several months to years earlier) . These are antibodies to EBV from a past infection
Anti-VCA IgM appears early in EBV infection and usually disappears within 4 to 6 weeks .
Anti-VCA IgG appears in the acute phase of EBV infection, peaks at 2 to 4 weeks after onset, declines slightly then persists for the rest of a person’s life.
