What Does This MRI Report Indicate?

Question: My daughter has been suffering from fainting spells every couple of years since she was 6. she is now 19. they are followed by seizure like activity. the first few involved loss of bladder, recent ones have not. she loses 30 minutes of memory before and the two hours after are foggy. attached are the recent MRI report which I would like explained in plain English please. the EEG was normal but getting a sleep deprived one in the few weeks before seeing neurologist.

looks like damage due to less blood supply

Thanks for writing to us.
I have seen the attached report.
There is definitely damage done to brain due to decreased blood supply to brain.

This according to the report would have occurred slowly rather than a sudden attack like stroke.

There could be multiple reasons like blood vessel disorders, clotting disorder or conditions which cause blood thickening, etc.

It is better to follow up with your neurologist for further blood work up to identify the causes.
