Brief Answer:
Provide imaging of Mri

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
The lesion described and reported in Mri report is neurocysticercosis but the montoux test came to be positive.
The specificity is poor with montoux and can not differentiate the organ having tuberculosis.
You have been started antitubercular treatment by your doctor.
Even neurocysticercosis may not disappear in a year time.
You need to provide images or upload link of Google Drive for evaluating your father's Mri.
Another approach may be to give albendazole under steroid cover and get follow up imaging after 3 months.
Any history of tuberculosis?
Hope you found the answer helpful.
