Can be prevented.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Degenerative anterolisthesis is the slip of one vertebra on top of another due to arthritis in the lumbar facet joints. This is present in your case at L4-L5. it is difficult to reverse completely but can be prevented from getting worse.
Loosing the extra body fat- the belly and avoiding sitting for hours and doing regular stretching exercises of the back and legs will help in reducing the problem. A gradual increase in exercise and strict dietary control will help.
The other treatment options are-
Pain killer medications to relieve the discomfort and back pain. You may need to have muscle relaxants for a prolonged relief.
Wearing a back brace as advised by your orthopedician.
Weight loss
Vitamin D supplementation after getting your levels checked.
Surgery
Lordosis exercises - Pelvic tilts; knee to chest stretch and heel slide; etc will be helpful if done under a proficient physiotherapist.
I hope this answers your query.
