What Does This MRI Report Indicate?

regards XXXXXXX XXXX
Take treatment as advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
The disc prolapse at C5-6 level is also compressing nerve root supplying left upper limb.
The treatment plan is physiotherapy with neuropathy pain medications like pregabalin, gabapentin or amitriptyline. The doses is gradually increased according to response.
Pain killers and muscle relaxant like aceclofenac or diclofenac with tizanidine or thiocholchicoside can be taken for acute pain.
If with medication and physiotherapy, significant improvement is not seen in 3 months or there is deficit then surgery is indicated.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
