What Does This MRI Report Indicate?

Question: Hello Doctor,

My MRI of cervical spine showed I have a mild disc bulge of c4-5 and left foraminal disc protrusion indenting subarachnoid space without any nerve root compression.

Does it have to do anything with numbness in the hands and feets?

Also mri also shows loss of t2 hyperintense signal which suggests disc desiccation at the same time it says all intervertebral disc are of normal height

Brief Answer:
Get examined and investigated by a neurologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
The mri finding is not of concern.
There is no significant disc prolapse.
The tingling in all limbs is not due to mri related findings.
Get blood sugar, vitamin B 12, liver function test, renal function test.
Nerve conduction test can be done if blood investigations are normal.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Dear Dr. XXXXXXX

Many thanks for your answer, however nerve conduction revealed everything is normal, brain MRI ruled out the possibility of MS. I have this ongoing problem since last 3 years. B12 and blood sugar have also been tested and it turned out they are fine too.

Also, I forgot to mention that my there is a Scoliosis with convexity to the left side.

Finally, I want to know that what could be the possible reasons for that, could it be weightlifting or related to the posture of my neck because I usually walk with a bend neck and possible cure
