Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. The usual symptoms produced by slip disc (pinched nerve) are-numbness, tingling sensation in arm along with radiating pain from neck to hand with or without weakness of grip.Do you have any of above feature?
The immediate precaution are - avoid neck and head loading,no vigorous massage/exercises.May do gentle neck exercises and Taad XXXXXXX (yoga).
How is the range of movement at neck and shoulder?
Which shoulder hurts the most?
Gastritis and headache are different issue and not related to slip disc.
Looking forward to your reply to help you further.
Take care
I have neck pain problem since last 9-10 years. neck pain is a major problem but not acute. sometime acute pain generates at back portion of the head, normally during high acidity and seldom experience mild pain of the right shoulder . Mild Headache(back side portion) and neck pain is a regular issue.
Apart from this, my major worry is, As per MRI report which i have sent/uploaded, is there any serious issue?
Also in order to reduce neck movement strain, should I use neck belt?
Do I need to visit neurologists?
Appreciate one time elaborative reply on immediate precautions I should take, permanent treatment/solution to come out from the problem mentioned in MRI as well as neck pain.
Regards.

MRI is significant but it is not the cause of pain
Detailed Answer:
Hello
You are welcome
After going through the detail reply and MRI report, the cause of your suffering is definitely not the changes described on MRI scan especially in view of long duration of neck pain.Hence,it is not a serious issue. There is no harm in visiting a neurologist for physical evaluation. My suggestions for you are-
1.Daily neck muscles strengthening exercises along with Tad XXXXXXX You may use neck collar on and off and not on a regular basis.
2.You may have drug ibuprofen, vitamin B12 (shots/pill),along with muscle relaxant thiocolchicoside and pregablin.Get them prescribed from your local doctor.
3.Immediate precautions are no head/neck loading,avoid vigorous massage/exercises.
At present you just need to follow the above said recommendations.
Hope this suffices.
Take care
