What Does This PET Report Indicate?

Question: HELP NEEDED! I'm 36 years old with an 18 month old son. Yesterday I got results from a Nuclear Pet Scan. When I went to the pulmonary Doctor (cough for over 6 months). He had not read the results until he read them out loud to me. The results indicated innumerable hyper metabolic, retroperitoneal, peri portal, mesenteric and pelvic lymph nodes.
I did my biopsy today but he would not give me any information stating I would have to wait for the biopsy results.
He was vague. I'm not looking for a diagnoses but something to lead me right...

Brief Answer:
PET report is suggestive of lymphoma
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
I have gone through the report you have provided. It is quite suggestive of lymphoma. Lymphoma is a cancer arising from lymph glands, which can only be diagnosed on a lymph node biopsy. PET scan can suggest but never confirms.
I understand that you have already undergone a biopsy. So we need to wait for the results. Fortunately, lymphoma, especially in a young patient like you is mostly curable with treatment.
I am sure you can overcome this.
Hope this helps.
Regards

Good morning,
Attached are images of the pet scan, pet scan, and biopsy results. I am going to the cancer treatment center for XXXXXXX in AZ Monday. My pulmonologist said he did not have time to review my results today. He also said I did not need to seek treatment. The pet scan recommended a biopsy of the lypnodes. Which I don't know why did not do in the first place.

Brief Answer:
this is not a biopsy
Detailed Answer:
The attached report is of bronchial aspirate. It shows nothing remarkable. It is not a biopsy. You need a biopsy from one of the lymph nodes as suggested in the PET report. Only then can we start the appropriate treatment.
