What does the blod culture report suggest?
Aerobic Cuture(BacT/Alert BacT Alert Specimen test.Day-1'Day-2,D-3 ,D4 D-5 Blood no growth . No organism isolated after -5Days of incubation.
A positive growth would have indicated a bacterial infection.

Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. In case of bacterial infection in blood bacteria are likely to be isolated in the sample taken for culture. If bacteria are present in the sample, they find favorable environment in the culture and grow rapidly to form colonies in a few days. In the five days of incubation no such colony has been observed. This however cannot say for sure that you do not have a bacterial infection but had there been a growth in the culture, we could have said for sure that a bacterial infection is present (and also the type of bacteria and the antibiotics it is sensitive to). No growth in blood culture therefore indicates that there there is no definite evidence (yet) that you have a bacterial infection.
If fever or other signs have subsided already, there is no reason to worry and further interventions are not needed.
Let me know if I could help further.
