What Does This Blood Report In A Stage 4 Cancer Patient Indicate?
Question: OK. I am a stage 4 cancer patient. Was looking at my blood lab report.
It has immateur granulocytes. Range 00 to 1.0. Mine was 1.3. After a year of being 00
Grans mentioned were promyelocytes, myelocytes, metamyelocytes.
Went from 00 to 1.3

Some immature granulocytes are always present in blood. That's why the range is upto 1.0. Your value of 1.3 is borderline high but not of major concern. What treatment for cancer have you received off late? Drugs can also cause this.
However, as I said, it is not something serious. You can repeat it after sometime to see if it is stable or rising. No intervention required at this time.

My drugs I am taking are Ibrance with femara. Could this mean beginning of leukemia?

No this is not leukemia. Ibrance causes bone marrow suppression and when bone marrow recovers, blood WILL have immature granulocytes. Now I am more convinced that this is not something serious.
