What Does This Blood Report In An Infant Indicate?

Please advise what could be the reason.
Your baby has iron deficiency anemia
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to the HCM
I have gone through your question and the report attached. Don't worry. I see such cases regularly at my clinic. The blood report of your child is suggestive of iron deficiency anemia. There seems to be no significant infection at present.
As far as temperature is concerned, always measures it with a thermometer. If it's less than 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, then there is no need for treatment and nothing to be worried about. Infants are prone to have warm head as compared to the rest of the body due to immature hypothalamic regulation. It will be fine once he grows up.
There is absolutely no need for antibiotics at present.
You may take the following measures to help him:
1. Start him on Maxtra drops. They are antihistamine and helps in cough and cold.
2. Also start Syp. Ferronia XT ( iron syrup) 5 ml once a day for next 2 months.
3. Offer him regular feeds and oral fluids. Give him at least 4-5 bowls of complementary feeds along with breastfeeding.
4. Keep a room humidifier while sleeping in case of dry climate.
Hopefully this will help him. For further questions, I will be happy to help you.
Take care
