What Does This Blood Report Indicate?

Question: Hi doctor,
This is XXXXXXX
I am on medication for hypothyroidism.At present,Iam taking thyronorm 75mcg dosage.Recently underwent blood test,here are reports showing T4 not in ref range.May I know what does this mean?

Hi XXXXXXX

Welcome to HCM. I have gone through the question and understand your concerns.

While you are on replacement thyronorm for hypothyroidism the T4 will be usually on higher side. This is because the thyronorm we give is actually T4. So if your TSH is normal, you need not be worried about the high T4 value. You can continue same dose of thyronorm.
