In my report in RBC its mentioned "MILD ANISOPOIKILOCYTOSIS WITH MICROCYTIC HYPOCHROMIA WITH FEW OVALOCYTES CELLS SEEN". What does it mean?
It can be due to iron deficiency.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear,
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have hypochromic microcytic RBCs with mild anisopoikilocytosis. It suggests you have smaller RBCs with slight variation in size and shape.
This type of picture is commonly seen in iron deficiency anemia. Other cause is thalassemia minor.
Iron deficiency is the common cause so we should investigate it first.
You should go for serum iron and ferritin level.
If these levels are low then you need iron rich food and iron supplement. Drugs like Ferrous sulphate or Ferrous fumarate can be useful. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Thallasemia minor doesn't mean cancer. It is hemoglobin production abnormality. Not serious condition and no treatment is needed if it thalassemia minor.
Red cell distribution width indicates variation in size of RBC. And your wbc count is normal. So don't worry about cancer or any serious condition.
