What Does This Blood Report Indicate?
Question: When I donated Blood for 6th times. They said that we are not able to get your Blood Because you have HB Core Antibody Positive.
After the meeting with doctor below is my Test Result. The doctor said that You are immune for life no worries.
HBsAg---------Negative
HBcAb or Anti HBc---------Positive
HBsAb or Anti HBsAg ------- 246 mIU/mL mean Positive
HBeAg -------- Negative
HBeAb or Anti HBeAg ----- Postive
Am I am immune to Hepatitis B for life.....?
Is there any need for HBV DNA by PCR Quantitative? My doctor said that no need for PCR.
Is there any Chance of Re-Activation in my case.
Note: I successfully donated blood 5 times. But No one rejected and even they not tested HB Core Antibody. Can you please explain this Why this blood bank tested this and others are not tested.
