Brief Answer:
Bone marrow examination

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I have gone through the reports attached.

A lymphocyte is a type of white blood cell present in the blood.

White blood cells help protect the body against diseases and fight infections.

When the general defense systems of the body have been penetrated by dangerous invading microorganisms, lymphocytes help provide a specific response to attack the invading organisms.

Lymphocytosis can be due to bacterial or viral infection, cancer of the blood or lymphatic system or an autoimmune disorder causing ongoing chronic inflammation.

You need further tests like a bone marrow examination and lymph node biopsy to find the exact cause of lymphocytosis and then only specific treatment can be started.

Discuss above tests with your treating physician.

Brief Answer:
leukemia

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Lymphocytosis can be due to acute lymphocytic leukemia or chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

Bone marrow test is necessary to rule out cancer.

If bone marrow test is normal then u do not need to worry and it could be due to bacterial or viral infection which can be treated and is not that life threatening.

Sir,

Is there an alternative to bone marro test? Like CT scan or MRI.

I forgot to mention:
On may 29th my prior CBC test it showed increased LYMPHOCYTOSIS at 47 and all other values were fine like tlc, rbc etc.

I feel dull, lazy and scared.......

My THS is 6.48 its high
T3 is 0.79 normal
T4 is 6.5 normal

Can my hight THS affect my lymphocytes count?

Brief Answer:
No relationship

Detailed Answer:
Hi

There is no alternative to bone marrow test in case of lymphocytosis.

Increased TSH has no relationship with high lymphocyte count.

As per our discussion I guess that I have some serious disease and have less time to live. Because I have no infection and no pain. So my lymphocytes are not elevated due to viral or other infection.

I am feeling fatigued and lazy.

Thanks, XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
more time to live

Detailed Answer:
Hi

If your bone marrow report comes out as normal and other bacterial and viral markers are normal then increased lymphocytes could also be due to autoimmune disorder causing ongoing inflammation which is perfectly treatable and it is not that serious and you will have more time to live.

If you have no more clarifications then please close the thread.
