Question: Good morning. I had a PA and lateral CXR performed yesterday. It was normal, with the exception of chronic, mild interstitial findings in the middle and lower lobes bilaterally. I am a non-smoker. I do have some exertional dyspnea. Do I need a HRCT? Should I see a pulmonologist first? Should I have PFTs prior to undergoing HRCT?

Brief Answer:
See a Pulmonologist first

Detailed Answer:
Hi, Welcome to HCM,
I've gone through your query in details,

I will suggest you see a Pulmonolgist first. Do not do any further investigations without a specialist on board to coordinate and make the right calls.

Keep me updated about your progress and experiences with the pulmonologist.
Any further queries, feel free to ask

Regards
