Few months before I had stopped my steroids without doctors advice, nowadays I'm having heaviness in my head, blurred vision and fatigue always , feeling loss of balance while walking . I can't able to concentrate Anything . Last week I had a Doppler scan of subclavian and neck arteries . Attaching the report . Please suggest me what to do

Brief Answer:
Restart Steroids.

Detailed Answer:
HI

Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for posting your query.

I went through your query and the report attached . The report says that your Subclavian arteries are narrowed and so are your Carotid Arteries but blood flow through your carotid arteries is not compromised.

But in view of your symptoms I recommend you to get MRI Brain to check the status of Brain and an Eye examination to check your eye status.

You need to restart taking Steroids again . Kindly consult your doctor for that and never again stop steroids without doctor's advise.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask .

Regards.

Brief Answer:
May not require Stenting.

Detailed Answer:
HI

If you continue to take medicines ( Steroids ) and if the steroids keeps your takayasu Disease under control then you may not need Stenting . But I would recommend yearly once Carotid doppler ( even if you are symptom free ).

Sure will review your MRA and eye examination report.
