Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The glucose challenge test is abnormal, but do not worry.
I will suggest a few more tests, as just this test alone does not mean that she has diabetes.
Please get the following done -
HbA1C ( glycosylated hemoglobin )
what is her height and weight ?
Just ask her to consult a Dietician and take proper diet and repeat the Fasting and Post meal blood sugar after 15 days.
Avoid potatoes, rice, starch, fried food, ghee , oil, sweets, grapes, bananas.
Take lots of liquids, fruits, vegetables.
Eat meals and snacks every 2 -3 hours.
The report should come down to normal in two weeks' time.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.

Detailed Answer:
See, right now the levels are borderline.
So there should be no effects on pregnancy.
IF blood sugars are uncontrolled, the baby can have some defects, excessive fluid around it, increased birth weight, more chances of C section etc.
But I do not think that is the case with her.
Take care.

We visited our doctor, she did urine test which came out negative and advised to monitor sugar level for next few days. Following are the readings of the test we are doing at home through kit:

Tuesday: 1 hr after dinner: 144
Wednesday: Fasting: 95, 2 hrs after lunch – 115, 1 hr after dinner- 142
Thursday: Fasting: 84, 1hr after breakfast- 152, 2 hrs after breakfast- 119

Please give your view on the above readings.

What should be the normal range during pregnancy?
