What Does This Lab Report Indicate?

Not to worry
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
You had recent labs and on those labs your MPV was slightly low at 6.3. This means the average size of the platelets are a little low. This is not a concern as this is an average and will not affect your overall clotting factors.
The Amylase is at 103 which in most labs is within normal range. If the amylase was 3 times normal range then you could have pancreatitis. But with this minimal increase I would not be worried at all.
I would recommend if you drink alcohol that you stop as alcoholism is the most common cause of pancreatitis. Also if you have elevated triglycerides this may also cause elevated amylase levels and pancreatitis.
Overall I would not be concerned with either of these lab results
