
What Does This Lab Report Post Laparoscopic Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy Indicate?

Question: I had a LAVH with no lymph node dissection. The path slide were forwarded from level 2 hospital to level 3. Results were: Stage 1a Endometroid adenocarcnoma. Grade 2. The university updated to grade 2 based on nuclear cytology. Immunostains showed a wild-type pattern in the tumor supporting the diagnosis of endometroid phnotype.
invasive 0.1cm in a 1.4cm myometrium
no lympovascular invasion noted (I had no dissection during surgery)
At first I was told no further treatment was needed. Now there is some thought of considering radiation. What is your opinion.

- stage 1a grade 1&2 no need to have additional treatment
- minor advantage if at all offered will not have any effect on prolongation of life but will decrease quality of life to a large extent.
