No specific abnormality, antibiotic course require
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX,
Thanks for writing to us.
I have seen your semen reports. The criteria of motility which is essential for having pregnancy as well as other criteria are quite within normal limit. From sperm point of view report is normal.
However there are 2-3 pus cells, which is sometimes considered normal, is of important in your case. This suggests infection likely in seminal vesicles or related part , responsible for semen production which is obstacle for pregnancy considering your wife's reports are normal .
One course of antibiotic like levofloxacin 500 mg for at least 5 days can eradicate this infection. This is a prescription medication and you will need to see a practitioner to get it prescribed if you choose.
After that one repeat test of semen analysis may be necessary.
Best judge for choosing antibiotic is your wife's gynecologist who has suggested you to go for report.
Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
