What Does This Semen Analysis Report Indicate?
Question: hi , I have done semen analysis . And found low sperm mobility even the sperm count is within the range. I have also done scanning , in which it shows varicocele is present . Doctor precribed FERTAB 50mg for 30days.
Will it cure the issues ?

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Varicocele cannot be cured with medicines and the only way out is surgery. Fertab does not have any role in this. Fertab contains clomiphene and I would advise against its use. It has been prescribed with an objective of triggering FSH and LH levels but might mess up with the hormonal levels and well as sperm motility and count and that is the reason I would not promote its use. Rather, taking zinc supplements (like Cobadex CZS tablet) along with folic acid supplements (like Folvite) taken once daily for 3-6 months has proven benefits in terms of enhancing sperm motility and count. However, as mentioned, it will not help in curing varicocele but nevertheless will help in offsetting the negative effect that the varicocele could have.

Can u suggest zinc and folic acid supplements with band names and how much ' mg" i have to take-in daily ?
Will multivitamin tablets will tablets one per day is enough ?
