What Does This Semen Analysis Report Indicate?
Question: My semen analysis
Volume= 3.0 ml
Liquefaction time 30 minutes
pH 8.0
Sperm concentration 87 million spermatozoa per millilitre
Total sperm number 261 million spermatozoa per ejaculate
1 hr Motility 47% motile (grades a - 40% and b - 7%)
2 hr Motility 29% motile (grades a - 20% and b - 9%)
Rapid Progressive 00%
Slow Progressive 40%
Morphology :-
Normal Forms 2%
Head Defects 98%
Mid piece and neck defects 25%
Tail defects 2%
Normal Forms 2%
I consulted 2 doctors, 1st doctor suggested Tab Ferpill M & Cytotam 10 MG
2nd Doctor suggested Ferpill M, Addyzoa & Lineator.
The problems I face is many times we do not complete intercourse as I loose erection midway. We are planning for a child. My age is 30 and her age is 28. Please suggest
1) If i should continue with the above prescribed medicines. When I checked for Cytotam online found it was related to breast cancer, Is it prescribed by mistake?
2) Should I use Viegra for proper erection and to be able to complete intercourse, does it have side effects on planning for child?

1) Your sperm volume ,viscosity,liquefaction time and percentage of motie sperms is within normal limits as per WHO standards .
However the morphology of the sperm suggests gross abnormality of head what is called as Terratospermia .
You need to consult qualified infertility for evaluation and further hormonal assessment .
As regards taking Viagra it will help you get hard and sustainable erection to perform sex for long duration .
As regards medicines prescribed by your Dr .these medications have not been proved scientifically effective to improve sperm character.
