Brief Answer:
Syphilis

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You recently had tests for syphilis and the test was positive. I do recommend that you see your medical provider right away. You will need treatment with antibiotics and will need additional testing possibly including a spinal tap. The reason for the spinal tap is to be sure you do not have neurosyphilis. This is where the infection has entered your central nervous system and can cause long term neurological problems. I strongly urge that you see your medical provider or a specialist in infectious diseases.
