What Does This Thyroid Test Result Indicate?
Brief Answer:
Please tell the t3 level also
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query.
The reports suggest that she is hypothyroid and needs to increase the dose of the medicine. The new dose would be 50 mcg. For how long has she been on the current dose? Any new dose takes 3 - 4 weeks to show its effect on TSH. Please also let me know the T3 values.
She should be seeing an endocrinologist preferably regarding the dose change and any further tests needed.

Hi, thanks for the prompt response. Her T3 level is 1.19, she has been taking the 37.5 mg dose for around six months. Shall I ask her to change the doses to 50 mg and then visit the doctor in about six weeks. Thanks once again
Brief Answer:
Can do either way
Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
It can be done either way. Dose will need to be increased soon. I suggested to visit the doctor because he may check if some tests are missing. That will also need to be checked soon.
