Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Unfortunately I will have to confirm the opinion of your doctor.
Falling B HCG levels and feeble cardiac activity are very surefire signs of an impending abortion.
THis is called a natural / spontaneous miscarriage.
Can you give me a few more details.
When was her last menstrual period ?
Does she have regular cycles ?
Is this her first pregnancy ?
Since how long were you trying to conceive ?
Can you upload both the scans done - the one on the 10th of April, and then the one on the 16th ?
Also, what injection exactly was given to her ?
Is she still bleeding ?
Is she having cramps ?
Please write back with more details.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.

Yes, it is a miscarriage, further options discussed.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for the updates.
I have reviewed all the information.
Yes, it appears that she is having a miscarriage.
It is unfortunate, but sometimes happens.
Did she receive the Anti D shot after her first delivery ?
Since she is still bleeding, please go for a repeat ultrasound scan tomorrow.
If the cardiac activity has disappeared, the abortion is confirmed.
Then there are a few options.
Wait for 2 - 3 days to see if she completely expels the products of conception
That is less likely, as she would bleed too much by then, leading to pallor and exhaustion.
Another option is to give her medical tablets to help and speed up the abortion, but that too carries a risk of severe, uncontrolled bleeding.
The best option is to go for surgical evacuation of the remaining tissues inside the uterus.
The material can then be sent for histopathological exam and biopsy to know the cause of abortion.
Commonly the reason is genetic ( chromosomal ) abnormalities.
Also, after this miscarriage, she should take a shot of Anti D to prevent any complications in future.
Please feel free to discuss further.
Can you upload the latest report please ?
Detailed Answer:
If you can see the heartbeat, then it should definitely be recordable .
Can you upload the report of the TVS done - the latest one please ?
Right now, continue all medications.
Also take lots of rest and avoid any stress, lifting weights, travelling, intercourse.
Take care.
Latest report is not there
Detailed Answer:
I am able to view only the ultrasound scan reports of 10th April and 16th April.
The 16th April report has been uploaded thrice, or maybe even 4 times.
But the latest scan report ( it should be dated 18th April ) is not visible.
Could you check ?
