PANCREAS: Pancreas is normal in shape & size. Echopttern is heterogenous.
KIDNEYS: Both kidneys are normal in shape, size and outline. Renal parenchyma and central echocomplex of both kidneys are normal. No SOL seen on eigher side.
Right kidne measures 10.5 cm.
Left kidney measures 10.7 cm.
Ureters are not dilated.

So, we are very much tensed for this type of report. Is there any big problem in her report? Mainly we are fearing for cyst in liver. So is there any point to be worry about that? Is it curable or have to do surgery? One vital question which comes to our mind is it a symptom for liver cancer?
Thanking You,
Yours faithfully,

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Looking at the ultrasound report and query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Heterogenous liver usually indicates fatty change, which is common at this age. It is due to deposition of fat especially in obesity, high cholesterol or triglyceride levels and is all age related.
2. Pancreas, mild age related change, again fatty change could have occurred.
3. Cyst of the liver, could be a benign cyst. However, infectious or other causes, only biopsy and histopathology could confirm. Chances of cancer are rare to present as cyst. Discuss with surgeon, as resection of it, should give possible cure.
4. No, Liver cancer at present does not come to mind.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
