ADV::: B HCG CORRELATION /REVIEW SCAN AS INDICATED
Ectopic pregnancy or hydrosalpinx
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I read your query and I understand your concerns.
Following is my reply:
1) Your right fallopian tube is bigger which occurs in 2 conditions.
2) First is ectopic pregnancy. There could be pregnancy growing in fallopian tubes instead of uterus. If you have missed your periods then there is more chance of ectopic pregnancy.
3) Please get serum beta hCG blood test immediately. If test shows pregnancy you will need immediate surgery to remove tubes.
4) Secondly, if serum beta hCG blood test is negative, this could be hydrosalpinx, meaning infection of the tubes leading to collection of pus and hence enlargement.
5) Please send me serum beta hCG report so that I can advice further.
PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME
WHAT WILL B THE CAUSES
AND WHY IT OCCURED
I WILL GET THE HCG REPORT TOMORROW
THE RECEPTIONIST TOLD THAT SHE WILL MAIL ME IN EVENING
BUT I HAVEN'T RECIEVED YET
Details about ectopic pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Hi
When pregnancy occurs, normally the baby should grow in the uterus ( womb).
Due to small variations in anatomy of tubes, the baby starts growing in fallopian tubes which are meant only for passage of egg and not for baby growth.
It is difficult to say why it occurred.
If baby starts growing in fallopian tubes, its called ectopic pregnancy which ruptures eventually and causes life threatening complication including death due to bleeding from fallopian tubes.
plz mam describe me
because as i see its the lowest value
OBSERVED VALUE IS BELOW 1.2
Possibility of hydrosalpinx
Detailed Answer:
Hi
There is good news and bad news.
Good news is that you don't have ectopic pregnancy. You are safe.
Now the enlarged fallopian tube as per ultrasound scan report is probably hydrosalpinx and not ectopic.
Hydrosalpinx needs to be confirmed by doing laparoscopy and removed as it is reason for infertility and pelvic inflammatory disease.
