Brief Answer:
It might be endometrial hyperplasia

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic.I understand your concern.
In my opinion your ultrasound report suggests endometrial hyperplasia(ie.,thickening of endometrium).
Usually in every cycle the endometrium thickens upto 10mm.Then after endometrium is shed during menstruation.
As the menstruation has not occurred the endometrium layer is thickened.
Kindly let me know the tests reports, your height and weight, any excess weight gain.
Looking forward to hear from you.

My other reports are normal, however the abnormalities are
HbA1c - 5.8, Glucose Fasting - 95, PP - 91, Insulin Fasting - 32.10, PP - 36.7, Testosterone - 44.35. I did get my periods 10 days back. My height is 5 Feet 6 Inches and Weight 78 kgs, weight increased over a short span of time by 5-7 kgs. The doctor has suggested to get D & C done for the tissues to be sent for samples.
Please suggest

Brief Answer:
D&C is useful to rule out endometrial abnormality

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for the information.I understand your concern.
In my opinion all the investigation reports are in normal range. But the weight appears to be inappropriate to height.
So the increased weight might be causing hormonal imbalance leading to irregular cycles.
Also the D&C helps in ruling out any endometrial abnormality. So go ahead with the procedure.
Also i suggest you to get a thyroid profile done to rule out any thyroid abnormalities after discussing with your doctor.
Weight reduction about 5-10 kg might also help in regularisation of cycles. So adapt a healthy lifestyle like exercise or walking daily and take healthy nutritional diet.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss further.

I am getting regular periods now but the bleeding is excessive with spotting and clotting between periods. I have already done thyroid tests The results are
Prolactin Serum - 6.28
TSH, UL Trasensitive, Serum 1.284, CBC Hb 8.9, PCV 29.20, MCV 74.10, MCH 22.50, MCHC 30.40, RDW 17.90
I am very apprehensive, what can be the abnormalities, could it be cancer also

Brief Answer:
Irregular bleeding might be due to various conditions

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,I got your query.I understand your concern.
In my opinion your Hb is less from the reports given. This might be due to the irregular bleeding these days.
The thyroid hormone and prolactin levels are normal.
So take iron supplements and iron rich diet to increase the Hb level.
Dont worry the irregular bleeding might not signify only endometrium cancer. And moreover the endometrium cancer might be
common in postmenopausal age.
There are many conditions like endometriosis, fibroids ,hormonal imbalance, cervical polyps ,infection etc which cause irregular bleeding between the periods.
I suggest you to get pap smear and D&C done to rule out cervical and endometrial abnormalities.
Nothing to worry. It might be due to hormonal imbalance.Sometimes even the D&C might cure the irregular bleeding between the periods.
So relax.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss further.
