What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?
Question: hi... I have an anteverted, bulky uterus. No focal lesions seen. Endometrium is thickened, thickness: 22 mm. Uterus measures : 9.0 x 5.1 x 5.0 cms. Left ovary is normal. Right ovary is not visualized. IMPRESSION : BULKY UTERUS WITH ENDOMETRIAL HYPERPLASIA. what does this mean???

I would like to have some more details like-your menstrual history, the reason for getting this sonogram and any other significant information.
As of now, the sonogram report says that the endometrium of the uterus is very much thickened. This should be evaluated further based on the clinical examination and history. You would need an endometrial biopsy to know the pathology.
Most often, since you are in the perimenopausal age, unopposed estrogen action can lead to such a picture.
